The installation works are often site-specific and explore environmental sounds found in and around the site with manual playback devices such as tape recorders and CD players, by amplifying parts of the space to draw attention to particular incidental sounds, or invite the audience to make new sounds through interaction. The installations often dispense with illusion and show how the sound is being produced.
